We have a thorough knowledge of the needs and expectations of corporate incentive groups of all sizes and varieties through many years of experience dealing with this market. From a Lakeside BBQ, Company Picnic, Weddings or Corporate Olympics with team building events the Edgewater Outdoor Centre on the Shores of Green Lake is the Premier Venue in Whistler Resort for any occasion. Tenting can be arranged for an additional charge for any size group complete with flooring, heating, tables & chairs, dance floor, floral decor, lighting, music and a stage. Catering, bar service and return bus transportation to the Edgewater Centre is also available from Whistler Village for an additional charge. Vancouver - Whistler to host 2010 Winter Olympics.
On July 2nd, 2003 Vancouver was chosen as the host city for the XXI Olympic Winter Games in the year 2010. The world famous ski resorts, Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, will share the events with Vancouver. The Resort of Whistler will have three major competition venues: Alpine Skiing events on Whistler Mountain; Bobsled, Luge and Skeleton events at the Sliding Centre on Blackcomb Mountain; and Nordic, Biathlon & Ski Jumping Competition events in the Callahan Valley.
